To kick off 2026 in an auspicious way, we are having a series of roadshows for individual share owners of icapital.biz Berhad (ICAP) in January.
In the 2023 AGM of ICAP, I said that one of the ways in managing its NAV discount was to increase individual share owners and go back to what it was before 2009. I explained that in order to achieve this, we will be interacting more frequently with individual share owners. This is what we have been doing since then.
In recent weeks, the London vultures have resumed their manipulative selling of ICAP shares. Are they exiting? Or are they positioning for the Appeal Court’s decision in February 2026? Is their selling creating a rare opportunity for long-term investors ?
At the coming roadshows, besides sharing my thoughts on what is happening, and what share owners should do, I will provide an outlook on the Malaysian economy and the KL stock market. Will 2026 be like 2025 or will the year of the Horse be a galloping one?
